Interns will gain a unique background as pillars in their ongoing journey for professional development and the development of a Black-owned business. In light of the financially challenged pandemic, our Community Bridge Interns are the puzzle piece in the puzzle for Black business survival. This is an Internship for Penn State Undergraduates.

Rebuildtheblock’s Co-Founders, Zelnetta Clark and Alexis Akarolo, are both uniquely impassioned leaders and Penn State Alumnus. They, like yourself, had to search for internships on the path to obtain their degrees. For these women, their internships served as one step on their path to forming Rebuildtheblock and its continual support for Black-Owned businesses.

WHY INTERN WITH US?

• Applicants must be considered a Penn State Abington Undergraduate for the Fall of 2021 and Spring of 2022
• Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
• Applicants must have at least 1-2 years of experience in the role they are applying for or study in the same and/or related field of the position they are applying
• Applicants must demonstrate effective communication, leadership, and assessment skills
• Applicants must submit a resume and unofficial transcript with their applications to be considered.
